I have been traveling down to St. Petersburg, FL for years now.
Ever since my first visit I fell in love with the beauty of the beach, and the modernization of the urban design. Finding a restaurant where you can see the sunset is not hard to do. Finding valuable real estate at a reasonable price is. I searched for months and months trying to get it right because I was making a huge decision by leaving everything behind here in Illinois. Something about the sand and the sun that gets me. Oh, and no snow!
Searching for a new home can be difficult. It’s more than the cost of the home. Are you single, or married? Do you have a family? How old are your kids and what school district will you be in?
Education is a big factor when it comes to moving into not only a new neighborhood, but a whole new state altogether.
Another thing I learned was that just because you can afford the price on a home, doesn’t mean that the yearly property tax won’t be costly as well. It can be pricey!
If you are looking to move to the St Petersburg area, don’t get stuck around the “St Pete” location. There are neighboring beaches for miles. Maybe look at homes in Treasure Island, Indian Rocks, Indian Shores, Madeira and there’s others. Best of all, these beaches are all next to one another so you won’t have to sacrifice a large commute difference to downtown St. Petersburg if that’s where you happen to work.
I finally found a great property that I not only moved to, but can also be a major investment option in the near future. I found this company The Elite Real Estate and the were great in helping satisfy my requirements. I would suggest checking them out (http://theeliterealestate.com) if you are looking to relocate to St Petersburg, FL.
